I think because of the BFG factory $70 rebate which Discount Tire is not a part of, they dropped their prices of 265/70R17 KO2 to $202:

I totally showed your invoice at America's Tire, they couldn't fully match it, but they dropped from $202 per tire to $192, and I got $200 for my old Dueler H/Ts and was out the door for $713, and with the BFG KO2 rebate I should be down to $643!!

And for those concerned about rubbing...

Yes, lift is planned. I am still figuring out what direction I want to go.

Most likely for this summer though. I hopped on the tires now not wasting time with the BFG Rebate, and I didn't want to put anymore miles on the stock duelers just thinking about what to do next.

I am running LRC, LT265/70R17 LRC.

I am running stock size 265/70R17 LRC. I didn't think rubbing would be an issue after checking the TIRE FITMENT GUIDE, I just wanted to beat people to the "Will it rub?" comments, ya' know?

unless the KO2s are drastically different in actual dimension than the original KOs, i wouldn't anticipate any rubbing with stock sizing...i've definitely had some flex, to say the least, with ours and no rubbing evident

Love my 265 70 R17 load rating C KO2s !

Just got the Fuel Octane wheels (17x8.5 -5mm offset ) and 265 70 R17 C load rating KO2 tires installed today. It totally transformed my 2015 4x4 Limited. They are a bit louder than the stock tires on 20s but not anything to worry about. (I am a noise nut and while I can hear the tires they do not bother me).
I get slight rubbing on the front wheel liner (towards the front of the vehicle) while turning in reverse. Should not be a problem to push the liner forward after heating with a heat gun.

I took the photos with a full frame sensor camera between 50 and 70mm so that there would be no distortion from a wide angle lens. But let me tell you the photos do not do it justice. It just does not convey how good these tires (and Fuel wheels) look. The stance is so much more aggressive from every angle.

Very little on my mud flaps at Full Lock which will be removed as soon as I get off work.

Im also planning on lifting the front 1" to level her our in a couple weeks which should also give a little cushion.

After Removing the front mud flaps the rub has stopped completely... I tried removing the rear mud flaps but then there is this huge hole between the back panel and frame so I kept those on. I will probably end up trimming them up a bit though...

Has anyone got the 34x10.5x17 yet?
Part #91644 - 34x10.50R17/D 120 R 10.6 Wide x 33.5" Tall

I just picked up a brand new TEP and plan on doing either an Icon setup Stage 1 or the new Bilstein 6112/5160/Toytec Superflex HD rear springs (both will have Camburg/Moog Balljoint UCA's and set to 3" up front). I am just wondering what the consensus on rub will be with these tires and the stock TE wheels and if I should just get the BMC while I have the wheels off getting powder coated black.

I bet you will be okay if you lift and trim, although width contributes to rubbing as well of course. I have 285 75 17 with tires with 3" lift with no need for BMC. Maybe someone with same width tires will comment here.

Your 285-70 is 32.7", whereas the tire I am referencing is 33.5". You have that extra clearance?

I had the KO2's installed about a month ago. I aired down last weekend and they were at 36 to start. I aired back up to that but called the shop to make sure that was the right pressure. He said they should be the pressure that's listed in the door panel (32). I told him they were at 36 and the panel said 32. He said it wasn't a big deal either way but it should be 32 per the panel.

Since the tires are a different size than the stock 245's I'd like to be sure I'm at the correct pressure.

When I had my 13' FJ TT, Toyota replaced the door stickers to reflect the proper inflation for the BFG AT KO LR"E" they were installing.
They even noted it in the Owners Manual.

Just let the Tire Shop know where you want the pressure....
I didn't have an issue when I told them 36PSI.
