Update: I'm at 35 psi now haha. 45 psi was too harsh after a couple of days but 35 is fine. Made it from ATL to Orlando and back with 4 adults and luggage with no complaints and no problems.

35 seems a bit squishy to me for on road 
That's also a lot of tread contact area which increases rolling resistance a LOT. You can even hear the difference with the window rolled down when driving slowly (5-10 mph) on the road. Try 40 pounds if 45 is too much, it's a big difference in feel. I run 44 for mileage, 30 for desert offroad, 24 for rock climbing and 20 for sand dunes.

44-45psi seems to be the best for city and freeway daily driving, IMO.

Ordered a set at Costco today, not the best deal in town but I don't mind paying a bit more for great service, awesome warranty and getting to eat a chicken bake while I wait. $215 per tire and they gave me the $70 BFG rebate instant. They should arrive in a few days and cant wait to get rid of the stock pizza cutters, hopefully I can make some money back on CL. Came out to $930ish OTD. They didn't show on the website as an option but the guys at the tire center let me know they could order them, just a heads up for those that may be interested in these or other tires.
I run the factory recommended 32psi on my Cooper AT3 tires with stock size. I was told by a Cooper rep that this is highly recommended for the longevity of the tire and for the best performance.

I have the 265's in C-rated. 35psi was too mushy for me, especially on the highway. I felt like I was swaying back and forth. 45psi was a bit harsh. For me, 40psi is the sweet spot for ride comfort and mph.

Mine are stock size 115T M&S rated Cooper AT3 tires.
Anyone have any opinions on these tires after running them for a period of time? I don't necessarily like the way they look, but i'm more after functionality. Currently I'm running the Duratrac and have been fairly happy minus one snow run (which I never got stuck in 3' but struggled a lot, think I just needed to drop air pressure). My majority of driving is road/rocks/snow/sand.

I have had numerous sets of Duratracs (all E load range) on several 4Runners. As soon as I got my TE, I had them throw on some 265/70/17 E Duratracs. I rode on those for approximately 15k. About 5k ago, I mounted some 275/70/17 E KO2's. Seems so far, that the KO2's are a far superior on road tire. I have not had the chance to comprehensibly test them off road as of yet.

I stuck with 265/70/17. I was torn between 265 and 275 really leaning towards the 275 but the fact that Costco gives you hell with anything but stock size made me go with 265. If you want anything but the stock size there you have to bring in just the wheels and they will mount them as usual but will not put them on the truck. One time wouldn’t be so bad but if I get nails or punctures it just becomes a headache for a little extra rubber. These tires probably wont be as prone to nails as they are much more meaty but my wife always seems to find a way, I go there monthly to have repairs done on her infinity G35 tires.

Ok I'll give it a go at 40 for a few days. Could it be that the harshness in the ride I was feeling was from the bilsteins install and not the tire pressure? I did tires and shocks at pretty much the same time, and it seems like it was pretty rough at first, but 2k miles later feels pretty smooth again on the highway. And I don't think it's just because I got used to the different ride.
If your Coopers are a "P" metric tire, then 32 lbs might be fine. But if your Coopers are an "LT" tire, Load Range C (6-ply), 50 lbs is the MAX. And if they are a Load Range "E", (10-ply) then 80 lbs is MAX. While most people don't run the MAX pressure unless they haul heavy loads. I run my LT 265/70/17 BFG KO2's, Load Range "C" @ 38 lbs. This seems to be a happy spot for my application.
Is that a P-tire or a LT-tire, my comment is solely for BFG LT265/70R17 LRC tire. I know nothing about Cooper AT3 that you are talking about, and you are not giving enough info about that tire for this discussion. LT-tires require completely different pressure as compare to P-tires.

The tire in this thread doesn't seem to fit on your vehicle does it? I checked the 1st 20 posts or so and I don't see how this thread specifically was meant for an LT tire. My error if I am wrong, but I am not sure what your referring to sir.
