Was this past Fri & Sat only. They're doing one for $50 for a set of 4 soon if not already. I saw flyers for that when getting mine installed. Look for when they have a new store opening, that seems to be when they have the best promos. It doesn't seem to matter if the store is near you or not.

Just got $205 ea plus install at Discount Tire in the store. They also have a 10% discount for military and included me as a federal employee as well.

But with KO2 275/70R17 from the factory 265 Dueler I dropped 1.5-2mpg highway. I don't do enough city driving to get a number for that.
Went from about 19.5 to 17.5-18 mpg.
Also very happy speedometer is now accurate.

Got mine at discount tires traded in and got credited $400 for the stock 265s and got a set of 275 70 17 ko2s for $450 installed
Thats what Im talking about, I need to see my local Disc Tire Saturday and see what they can do, Im at about 800 miles on my stock tires.
wow, you got $400 credit back from discount tire? i went in this past week and they only wanted to give me $75/tire. did you also do the spare? been debating whether or not to change mine but i don't do any off-roading.
I only got $50 per stock tire with 35mi on them from DT when I purchased new KO2's. I tried hard to haggle to $60 ea, but they wouldn't have it.
Wow - 100/tire is a new high. I got 75/tire and really had to push.

About 5 minutes from pulling the trigger on these tires (275/70r17) but was hoping someone that already has them can help me out.
BFG's website notes that these are Raised White Letters on the sidewall. In my past experience, the inner sidewall is usually black. Is that the case here? I really don't want white letters on the outside.
From what I can tell, most in this thread have the black out but I just want to make sure I'm not missing something when I order them from costco.

Yes, white letters mounted inside means black walls out. Lettering is only white on one side.

Picking up 4R today. Swapping tires. Was set on Cooper ATP, C range or P. No one has them. Limited to C range KO2s or E range ATPs. E is more than I need.
I think I'm answering my own question, but should I opt for the proper load range or preferred tread pattern?

You're probably going to get a bunch of different responses but it depends on you. With LRE tires the ride will obviously be harsh since they're meant for 3/4 ton pickups and such BUT, I ran them on my old 4Runner and I run them on my pickup now and I don't mind the ride. Some will tell you its horrible and so on and it may be for them. Just keep in mind that LRE tires are going to be heavier which also affects your MPG and braking distance.

I am currently running my LR "C"s @ 43-44psi.
Of course, if I need to air down, given certain terrain it's not an issue.

c-rated? i felt 35 was a little mushy. im running them at 40psi.

40 psi was noticeably harsher for me on these crappy Houston roads. It wasn't bad, but I am not sure I know the benefit of higher PSI unless I am loaded up. If anything, I feel like it is just harder on the truck, but what do I know?
35 is where I leave mine and it feels a lot like the P ride.
