Anyone have any issues running stock size (265/70/17) with BFG AT KO on c rated tire over 40 psi? To hold same weight as stock p rated, I would need to run 45-50psi.

I run mine at 38psi and get about 17.5 in the cite.
pulled a 4200lba u-hall for 3000mi's with no issue....... i just dont feel the need to put more psi in.
Keep in mind that when P-metric tires are used on light trucks, such as Pick-ups, SUV's, or Vans, their load capacity is reduced. To find a P-metric tire's true load capacity when used on the above mentioned vehicles, divide the P-metric tire load capacity at any given pressure as shown in inflation tables, by 1.10.

The specific section dealing with de-rating P-metric tires when used on light trucks, is section V., part E.
So depending on the actual tires being compared, you might not need to air-up an LT tire quite as much as you might have thought, to match the de-rated load carrying capacity of the stock P-metric tires at the recommended air pressure for your 4Runner.

I have had this same tire on my 4th gen for 5 years and run them at 37-38 psi. They wore very evenly at this pressure.
