Anyone planning a trip to Big Bend or BBSP in mid summer to early fall? TRDP is supposed to arrive in May/June... just ordered a Gobi Stealth and Tepui Kukenam. Being from the DFW area BB is the nearest place to really do any remote camping/Overlanding in Texas.

Mid summer is hot as balls except in the high country of the park, but fewer crowds.

I might be down to go around that time. I'm supposed to be going at the end of this month. But that'll be a sweet set up once your TRDP comes in. The Gobi's look great! If you check out Texas overland Facebook page and go to their files. They've got a lot of good trail maps posted on therer if you're ever looking for some places to hit some trails in the future.

I can't wait to go back. Luckily with my work schedule I have one week straight every month off. Makes it pretty easy to get out of town if I want.

Thanks for the info on the facebook page. Depending on the delivery date of the TRDP and Gobi we will have to coordinate and see if our timelines match. Had a trip planned down there last Memorial Day but it got cancelled last minute. Making the switch from a Wangler JKU to the TRDP and excited to put it through its paces on a good trip.

Yea man just let me know when y'all end up going and I'll see if I can tag along. And welcome to the club. I've had mine a little over a year and I'm loving it! I'm sure you'll love your TRDP as well.
