Big Hero Build

The wife and I were planning on going to Northwest OHV Park on Father's Day, but found out the were closed due to flooding. Soooooo, we found a little honey hole by the house. Here are a couple of pics...

I am uploading a couple of videos shortly. If we could ever get some time to go to a real off road park, I'll get some better videos.

Goofy question, but I'll ask since you work at Toyota! :)

Does Toyota have any particular policy about either warranty work or repair work on 4Runners with aftermarket lifts? I would assume all the warranties on the stock parts are still valid, correct?

I've only upgraded once I've been outside any warranty, yet had a weak moment and bought a TE Premium over the weekend...and already want the lift/level and bigger tires.

On the upside, I did drive it 1000 miles home, so I got more stock miles than you before the upgrades. Hahaha.

Nice looking truck. Envious.

Great build. I have the same truck, same bumper sitting in my garage and plan for the same lift. Just waiting a little longer before I buy the lift and winch to install it all together.

The only way Toyota will refuse a claim is due to abuse or if the lift caused a failure of another part. If the suspension fails, you are on your own though since it is not Toyota factory parts.

Congrats on the TEP!

looks great! I am hoping to install my SS hybrid bumper soon as well.

Thanks...The bumper install was pretty easy. The only kicker I had is when I cut the factory bumper and put it back on the car, without the supports that comes with the new bumper, it fit great. Once I put the supplied support brackets on the car, it pulled my bumper in a little and I found out I didnt trim one side of my factory bumper enough. basically I need to pull the bumper and retrim it and button it back up. No biggie though.

good to know. I need to buy the winch and then I will be ready to install. The bumper is sitting in my garage and very lonely at the moment!
