has anyone ever seen a billet grill with the V8 still on the grill ?

is there any billet grills with a cut out for the V8 , or would it have to be a custom cit to fit it ?

, I dont wanna take it off but would still like to get another billet grill like I had on my 07

I put a new billet grill insert on both the hood and lower bumper and I too have a v8. I removed the v8 OEM insert and peeled off the v8 emblem and super glued it to the new grill. It looks great and was easy to do. If you break the V or the 8 you can order that piece for about $30 online.

Here is what it looks like....sorry had to take the pics at night.

Looks good man. I could really care less about my emblem showing a V8 though. Better to surprise someone when you floor it. Keeps em wondering.

V8 emblem is kind of like wearing a Speedo. Why do that. Just look under the hood :thumb3:

Figured i would bump this thread rather than making a new one. Been thinking about changing up the front end of my 4Runner for a while now but not really into the satoshi grill look. I'm thinking about doing the horizontal billet inserts. I'm having trouble finding a solid lower grill section. Since I live in PA and we don't need front license plates, I dont want to have the cut out for the mounting location. Does anyone know where I can find a lower insert that doesnt have the holes cut out?

I found this picture (white truck) on Ebay but when I emailed the seller, they said that the grill does in fact have the holes for the plate.

See the difference in the attached pics. What i am looking for is what is on the white truck. All I can seem to find, though, is what is on the silver one. Thanks in advance

I was going to tell you to email the seller, but you already did, you may have to make one yourself. I was going to buy one of these, but couldn't find one that didn't have the holes either.

Well I ended up ordering the upper inserts from Amazon. Still on the lookout for the lower piece. I am going to see what the uppers look like and decide if I would be able to fab something up for the lower side. I was looking at my front end again and hoped that my bull bar/light bar combo would cover that area but unfortunately, it doesn't.

Got the upper section installed. Still looking for a good lower set!

Since i couldn't find the one I wanted I came up with a good way to get the look I want. I just simply mounted the grill upside down so the holes would be hidden behind the light bar. Came out perfect
