Bilstein 4600 4wd vs. 2wd?

Can anyone help me out, I cant figure this out...

they have 2 different part numbers, I have a 2k1 2wd..

are the 4wd 4runner not coil overs like the 2wd?

If you can explain the reason for the difference, I would appreciate it, thanks

also while I am here, as far as just replacing the original springs, would springs designated for 4wd fit a 2wd? why are they desingnated seperately?

The mounts are different in a 2WD vs. 4WD. If your truck is 2WD, get the 2WD Bilsteins.

Is that just for bilstein or all manufacturers, like kyb (don't worry I am not going to ask which is better...LOL)?

so what about for springs...I have 2wd, can I only get springs designed for a 2wd or could I get springs for a 4wd?

Or what is the difference between them if any, I am looking at the following, I know moog is not a favorite around here but its a spring and $100 for all 4 corners while I have everything apart seems decent...I pieced it together trying to get the 99 tall effect, if you think it would work lmk...thanks

Can't comment on MOOG as I've never used their stuff. But you can use 4WD springs on a 2WD. Not 100% sure but I don't think the springs are different.
