Don't know if it will help but you can go to the lift & tire thread n 4thgen. got some shots for ya of that setting, including mine . Had mine set at 2.5 with just stock & definitely was nose high now fjs 1.75 looks dead level to me n driveway. my 2%

Here you go. 2004 2WD V6 with 5100s set at 1.75, stock springs, wheels, and tires. Then with 265/65/18 tires, everything else the same.
There is a 1.25 inch rake front to back. I only got about 1.25 inches of lift at the 1.75 setting.

So your front is 1.25" higher than the back on level ground?

No, the reverse. The rear is 1.25 inches higher.

Some days I think about going to the 1.75 front setting.
Mine are at the .85 setting currently and I wish the front was just a hair higher.... like maybe .5" or so.
The thing is with the body lines.... the front wheel well comes up higher than the rear does so its kind of misleading.
As my truck sits now the running boards are pretty level front to back.
Do any of you have a lean to one side in the back?
Both sides up front are level, but in the rear one side is .5" higher than the other. Bugs me. :ybrick:

Yes, it's very common, driver side lean. The driver, battery, and gas tank are all on the driver side, the added weight causes it to sag.

Well,I went to 1.75 setting a couple of weeks ago and I am happy with it. It seems pretty dam level to me just by eyeballing it, so I took some measurements to see what it was. Front measurements: ground to bottom of fenderwell the rears are 1 inch higher than the front. I will post some pics soon to show you. Also, I will be putting on 265/65R18 LTX MS2's on since I am sure they will not rub in the front. There are other Tr4 owners with 265/65R18 with no lift on the front and say that they don't have rubbing issues.

That just made up my mind; I couldn't decide if I wanted more rear lift with the front, but that looks good, done! Maybe a rear spacer on the drivers side also...

Hey guys. I just installed mine and put them at the 2.5" setting. Unfortunately I forgot to do before measurements and it's dark now so I can't get pics...but this thing is WAY higher now than stock. I'm using stock coils. Is this going to be a problem? Will I be able to align this thing now? Anybody else here running the 2.5 setting?
Tomorrow I'm installing 1.5" spacers in the rear and I hope it'll level it out OK. But I'm concerned about how high the front is now for alignment/CV joints/ball joints reasons.

No need to worry until you get over 3". Just keep an eye on the CV boots, the bands may start leaking. Simple fix to reclamp them.

^^ Yep when I raised mine, cv boots whether clamps or the boots , probably boots little dry & cracked so keep an eye on em . As far as rear spacers it'll level it , even to the point it looks higher in rear it isn't !!

Ended up dialing them down to 1.75" setting because the alignment shop couldn't do my alignment. My a-arm bolts are literally rusted and seized in place. Guy said he's seen other Toyota's come in the shop with the same problem. So other than adjusting the toe, all my other settings are as-is forever, until I find somebody with a plasma cutter.
The Bilstein 5100s up front and Monroe Reflex shocks out back with stock coils make for a PERFECT ride quality. It's stiff enough to work like a truck, but still soft enough for a plush ride on the pavement. I don't miss XREAS at all...that stuff has found it's rightful place in my garbage cans outside.

How is the lift? Are you still set at 1.75 on your front shocks with the 1.5 rear spacer?

Hi. I was wondering the same thing. 2007 2wd stock everything, stock tires. Initially I was going to go with Daystar 1" budget boost in front and Daystar 1.5 spacer in the back, but the shocks have about 80k miles on them.
Now I'm thinking that for basically the same amount of work, upgrade to Bilstein 5100s all around with front set at 1.7 of lift. All with stock springs. Right now I have about 2.75" of rake measured from center of wheel to bottom of fender.
Do you think I will need the Daystar 1.5" spacer in the back? I want to maintain some forward rake--don't want perfectly level even though I don't carry much in the back.
Plan to order the Bilstein shocks soon but not sure if I should order the rear Daystar spacer too? Thanks for any suggestions.
