Question for you Bilstein 5100/OME guys. Want to achieve a 2 inch lift with stock body weight (fine with a little rake). For the fronts which perch do I set it on? There are 4 settings that the clip can go on and it came sitting on the bottom one.

Bilstein- F 24-248730 / R 24-100144
OME - F 880 / R 906

I've researched but couldnt find an answer (maybe I didnt look hard enough) :typing:

I just installed this exact setup on my ‘01, and I had the front set on the lowest perch. There’s a very slight rear rake after I finished the job, but it really isn’t bad at all. It will come in handy if you’re planning to carry some weight in the back. I carry two, sometimes three mountain bikes with gear and people, so the slight rake doesn’t bother me.

And man, the ride is so much better. It feels like a new truck. My old shocks were all shot. I pressed them in, and they never rebounded. I believe they were the originals, which would have been used for 188k miles.

Do you have any pictures? Someone else posted on FB and it seemed like they only got about 1 inch and a lot of rake when on the lowest perch

Don't the instructions that came with the shocks have a table that suggests how much lift they think you will get for each position? Never mind, the info is for stock springs.

Might have been me, but here’s a pic. I didn’t measure very closely, but there’s about 1.75” lift in the front, and about 2.2” (?) in the back.
