And pointing out a "competitor's" legitimate flaws isn't bashing; it's good business practice. Amazon has a lot of benefits and is a good place to shop and purchase, but it does have flaws.

amazon is nothing more that a retail broker. if you need help installing 5100s no one from amazon is gonna walk you through it
 
Are these good shocks? I was kind of holding out for icons but I can settle for these if there decent. Don't plan on doing heavy off roadibg just want the option and the lift it gives.

I'm by no means an expert on this stuff yet, but from my understanding (been researching)...

Icons are sweet but probably overkill for what you're wanting. I also understand that they require rebuilding every so many multiples of 10,000 miles. <- Someone correct me if I'm wrong on the rebuilding.

5100's are considered a go-to shock solution and are excellent quality providing a much improved ride over factory, there are other go-to shocks too of course.

I'm going for the 5100's and coils myself.
