Does anybody have the 5100 part # for the front and rear sets?

Bilstein doesn't make 5100's for the 3rd gen. Your best bet is to use the front Tacoma 5100's and rear 5125's

I am from canada and need to find the part numbers for the 5100 series for my 3rd gen 4runner. Would anyone be able to tell me what year Tacoma to reference from to fit?

My local shop deals with street cars and needs part numbers to order anything truck related.

you can use the tundra 5100 instead of the tacoma 5100's. i use the tundra's paired with stock 99 tall coils, rear is LC 8 wrap with tundra 5100. rides fine.

front- BE5-6929-H0 5-way adj
rear- BE5-A014-H5 (need to press shock eye bushing out and press in Daystar p# KU08007)

Tacoma part# 5100
Front-BE5-D558-T0 3-way adj
Rear- will not bolt on.

compare both shocks in person. you decide.

You were able to use the Tundra front strut with the stock 4runner front springs? There was some confusion about whether this would work due to the spring diameter difference between the 4runner and Tundra. What did you use for hardware (tophats, etc)? Any pics of the assembly out of the truck?

I have a 99 4wd as my wife's DD. It desperately needs shocks too and I would like to give it a touch more height. Can I get these to fit the stock springs?
Front: Bilstein F4-BE5-6929-H1 (replaces F4-BE5-6929-H0)
Rear : Bilstein BE5-A014-H5

yea tundra struts stock springs stock tophats. no pics assembled out of truck. had the setup for a year now and no problems.
spring installed on the 5th top setting.

I'm about 90% sure about using the Tundra set up w/LC coils(given to me by a buddy). I had a Rabbit and an AE86 both modded a lot. Tried to use "factory" parts from other vehicles whenever possible. Overall seams to be the best combo for good/really good performance with lowish cost. Not mention less surprises too.

the shock eye bushing has to be pressed out on the tundra 5100 and replaced with Daystar bushings p# KU08007( got mine at lordco burnaby kingsway.) i just used a bench vise and a couple sockets to press mine out. did you get to compare the 5100 tundra and tacoma?

Think I will go for the Tundra 5100's. I've always had/liked firmer ride susp. so the shocks from a heavier truck would be the way to go for me.

Just called Lorco and they had no idea what Daystar is and then was told they don't carry that brand. Gonna try NSOF and Cap It now.

No worries, NSOR has them in stock. But Lordco would be easier to get to for me.

billy 5100 or 5125 for rear

I understand that both the 5100's and the 5125's are for lifted trucks and in the packages I've seen them using the 5125s for the 4runner. Anyone know what the reason would be and what the difference between the two are?
I was thinking of getting new springs for the front and rear but maybe I can save some money and keep my springs and just go with the 5100s in the front. If I stay with 4runner springs, am I better off with the tacoma struts?

Also the numbers you listed are the old numbers and I can only find a cross referenced number for the front Tundra (24-188265). Anyone know the new numbers for the others?

These part number are correct. I called and spoke to Gordon. Although he cannot confirm if the rears will fit based on Bilsteins info. Gordon told me the 5100 have a more durable finish and are for long travel.

I used to autos and track a little and know a short stroke(travel) shock is not good on a stock coil. I think it's the same where a long travel shock is not the best with a short(stock) coils.
