Bilstein 60mm BTS System

So if we're interested, would you rather we place the order with you online or call? Any update on release?

Thanks

Group buy? :cheer2:

I replied to the post NEW: Bilstein 6112 Coilover Spy Shots! - Page 18 - Tacoma World Forums on Tacoma World site yesterday...
Here are Chas' and my post!

Headed to Bilstein tomorrow, I will see what I can do!

When you get that info, can you also post it on the T4R.ORG site as well?

Greatly appreciated!

No reply yet.... but sure one will be coming!

Yeah I've still been checking back and forth between the forums to see if he had updates. I wonder if the sway away 1.5 inch lift rear coils are any good and how they would pair with the 5160's in this system.

That is probably the perfect setup right there.

Thanks for the help with posting info and good talking to you today!

As bilstein has a machine down (not sure what one) the release has been pushed back. This is probably the same reason why 5100s are backordered. Will update soon.

Great speaking with you :phone: as well Chas, looking forward to any feedback when available.

It won't be much help but just received my 51s yesterday on an order from Nov 11 ! Gonna hold them for a bit to see how these 6112s take !

Cant wait to try these babies out...

do you think the ride quality on the streets would be improved over OEM? I find the stock shocks to be squishy and when there is uneven roads, the top of the truck tends to rock side to side going over speed bumps etc.... do you guys think the 6112's would eliminate this? of course they'd also be great off road too! :)

enkrypt3d,

I think everyone tries to post all the info available when it is provided.

Don't know how we can answer your questions as the product hasn't been released yet.
Bilstein states the springs will be 600# linier with digressive valved 60mm shocks as stated in previous postings.....

Just read this entire thread, including links etc. Very informative, and professional. Yet another example which makes T4R a fantastic forum. With my search for a used 5th gen TE now in high gear, I feel this could be a great opportunity to get in on the bottom floor, as I will have a clean canvas to work with. Thank you...

Hopefully these meet all the hype that is out about them. Im so curious that im willing to offer a discount on labor to the first person that has me install a set!!! Having installed most of the other common setups I should be able to compare easily. Im hoping they feel more like a 5100/stock spring feel but with added stability. VS the toytec C/O or icon setup which is what I currently prefer which is a little stiff on trucks that don't have an AM bumper

I would be interested in that offer

Nothing to report as of today. Got into town late when I dropped my Tundra off so I didnt get a chance to talk to anyone at Bilstein. When I pick it up I will for sure have some news!
