Bilstein 6112 Lean

[SteadFAST 4Runner]

I just measure from the ground to the center of the bottom of each fender wheelwell and On my driver side I am almost 3/4 of an inch less the my driver side. I read that the Bilstein 6112 shocks for some reason are the cause of this. I have them both set a the same notch settings on both sides.

Seems like a lot of lean. Anyone else experience this?

One side (lean side) needs one notch higher , to the best of my knowledge ! But do goggle search

The TRD Bilstein came with the clips installed at different heights.

Measure from the center of the hub to the fender and see if the results are the same. Too many other variables when measuring from ground to fender.

23” from center hub driver side. There is a lean with all lifts FYI...

If your max-d out should be 7 clips 6 clips for lean goggle search !

I have 5100s all around. With them set at 1.75” and cornfed spacers (which are offset) I had no lean. With no spacers and 5100/OME springs I had .5” lean to driver side due to driver weight and gas tank. Added Toytec 1/4” Spacer up front and OME 10mm Spacer in the rear and she’s pretty level.

Don’t have a lean with my 6112s. Are you sure you’re measuring correctly?

When I installed my 6112’s the instructions said to set one side one notch higher than the other

Thanks for all the feedback, when I get home I will measure from the center of the wheel hub and see what I get.

Also, my 6112s are the older version with only 5 notches for the spring perch. Currently its on the 4th setting (1st being the bottom setting)

They revised the settings chart. I just posted it a week ago. They are now TWO NOTCHES apart.

Thanks for the feedback on this,... it turns out as suggested I needed to measure from the center of the wheel hub instead of from the ground. The rear is spot on equal and the front is slightly off.
