Bilstein HD...

I'm looking into getting a lift on my '02. I've searched other threads and gathered as much info as possible but can't see to find exactly what I need. I want a 3 inch lift and I also need new shocks as mine are shot. I was looking into the bilstein HD shocks with a ome 3 inch lift kit from bilsteinlifts.com (ome coils front and rear) just curious if the HD shocks will work with the lift without being overextended. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks.

if i remember right Blistein said not to use HD ones unless you have extra weight. But that was when I bought adjustable coil overs.

Yeah I've heard some say you can do it and others not. Just confusing, especially since I want to use bilsteins for my shocks. Any suggestions on what ones to use?

You don't want to use Billy HDs, those are more of a stock replacement, maybe 1" lift.
If you want 3", you're best bet is Billy 5100 adjustables. You can use either Tacoma or Tundra...you get either 3 or 5 notches of adjustability depending on which ones you get. Tacoma = 3, Tundra = 5. Check out either Toytec, Sonoran Steel, or Wheelers Offroad for pricing. There is a sticky above that has all the lift info you could ask for...and there's also Google.

best suggestion is for you to reach the lift fact stickies, the tutorial and information thread, then do a search on lifts (see my signature for a link to search)

There is so much good informaiton on this site specially about 4Runners.
