Bilstein shocks

Hi guys, I always see guys posting the following:

Bilstein set at 1.75
or
Bilstein set at 2.5

What does that number refer to exactly on the strut and do the Bils actually have height adjustment built into them??

Can someone please explain to me how this works?

Yes you can set the spring seat higher to change the ride height/lift of the 4runner.

With the use of multiple snap ring grooves to position the spring seat at different heights, the vehicle's ride height can be changed anywhere between 0-2.75” depending on application."

2. 0.85 Basically 1"

So if I have a Daystar 2.5 on the front and the Bils 1.75 for instance, that will be 4.25" of total lift?

Many will tell you not to stack a spacer on top of an adjusted shock. I have for 3 years now with no prob. you will need UCA's at that point.

Just the front. Rears are not ajustable. If you want to go up in the back you need spacers or springs. Spend some time over in the 4th gen lift and suspension thread. All this info and more is there. Including pics of truck with the combo left you are looking at.
