So, I have a leaking rear shock.... how does one go about to solve this under the 1 year Toyota parts warranty? I had to give VIN to get the kit.

Take it to a dealer , you have proof of purchase with date

Drop the driver side cone, place trim packer on top of the cone, and reinstall.

Thanks cowboy taco and akkording that’s the spacer I was checking on. I have the toytec to correct the front lean just wanted to make sure I didn’t have to do anything twice if I don’t have too.

How long have you had it installed? How many miles?

Looks like he received his Kit at the end of March, man less than 6 months and issues already. I'm curious to see pictures if possible.

Does the 4Runner specific version of this package come standard on a TRD Pro or is it an option? If standard does it run 0" or do they provide some lift from the factory?

I had a buddy install this kit on his brand new 18 4runner. The right rear shock started leaking at the banjo bolt. He was able to have it replaced under warranty, they only replaced the one shock. Part PTR13-35141-RR

Just got back from my first trail ride on the new suspension and WOW what a difference. The low speed stuff was nice, but it felt amazing bombing down some trails. It used to feel sketchy doing 35-40, now doing 50-60 it get planted and well balanced. I love it.

Just received my kit. Looking to get the same lift as others using the Daystar 1.25" spacer with the Wheelers Off Road Eibach T13 springs in the rear.

My SR5P came with this Revtek 1.5" leveling kit installed from the Dealer.

Anyone familiar with this brand? Other than the .25" difference and the material, this and the daystar are doing the same thing, correct?

If I would do it again, I would not go with Daystar - it’s basically hard rubber and in time will set. Go with other solution, either aluminum or hard plastic spacer.
My front is starting to settle and already dropped from 37” to 36”

I did read your concern above and agree with you. The Revtek spacer is aluminum so would hopefully alleviate that.

Any reason to not use it again? Would the additional .25" be any issue?

I just never see any mention if it or that brand (Revtek) and ran through all 95 pages if this thread.

From what I read here, and I’m no expert, looks like up to 3” lift we should be ok without replacing the UCAs.
Looks like Revtek is another pre-load spacer -I’m just trying to figure out what those extra parts are for as I could not find installation instructions for it.

Possible. It’s been about a month with approx 1500 miles, no off-road, just city drive and potholes. I’ll take pics when I get home on Saturday.

Here's mine after six weeks or so of on-road service. So far no worse for wear and I don't feel like its dropped where I've noticed it, it definitely settled in the first week or so. Still rides nice and I'm not second guessing the lift or my choice on raising the front an extra inch with the daystar isolator.
