Bilstein TRD Pro suspension kit on sale PTR13-35140

No, Toyota is 100% sold out of these. You may get lucky and find someone here or on ebay that has one for sale but that's about your only chance.

I have a brand new, in the box, set of these I’d be interested in selling. I bought these from a dealer right when they went on sale, but never ended up installing them. I’m in San Diego, if anyone in Southern California is interested, feel free to let me know

Yep they are in there to stay. Adding the Pro suspension provides .75" of lift over a stock SR5 Adding the lower ToyTec spring seat and 3/8" thick Cornfed top hat spacer provides an additional 1.75" of lift. I am at 2.5" over a stock SR5 up front with that setup.

Hello, do you have a direct link to the ToyTec spring seat you got? Thank you!

Also I just orderd the cornfed spacer kit for both front and rear. Would the 3inch front and 2 inch rear lift spacer be too much for this kit?

I was looking to gain more ground clearance overall as I was 4wheeling and kept bottoming out on some areas and or when I would go over a large rock/boulder and the come down smashed my rear end a bit. I figured an extra 3 inch spacer in the front and 2 inch spacer in the rear would clear most issues. Should I have just gone with the 2 inch spacer up front and 1.5 inch spacer in the rear?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thank you.

I’ve had this kit in for about a year. Very happy so far but now I’m interested in gaining an additional 2 up front (3 total) and 1 in the rear. I think I’ll be ok with OMEs for the rear but I see lots of solutions by using spacers for the front but are there other options for this kit that I can consider? I’m thinking I’ll also need upgraded uca at the new height. Thanks in advance!

You're going to have some extreme negative rake going an additional 2" up front and only 1" in the rear. If you go 2" up front, you need to go 2" in the rear also. You definitely need new uppers at 3" and to my knowledge King makes a heavier spring that you can use on the OEM 6112

After having my tire vibration fixed I can now move forward with installing my TRD lift.

After looking at many pictures with stock size 265/70/17 tires, it seems like 1.75 / 1 lift is perfect. Any higher it looks like it skipped leg day at the gym.

Should I just get a Cornfed top plate spacer? I assume a 0.5" spacer will give me 1" lift, plus the 0.75" lift that is built in which will give me total of 1.75" lift in front.

The back I'm thinking of going with Wheeler T13 or Bilstein B12 coil springs for 1" lift.

I've had this FJ TRD for well over a year now sitting in my garage :lmao:

Here's how mine was originally set up. I went with a 3/8" Cornfed top hat spacer up front for a total of 1.5" over stock SR5 suspension. I then went with a 1.5" Cornfed spacer in the back. Tires are 295/70/17 Ridge Grapplers on a 17x8 wheels with 4.5" back spacing and 0 offset. No BMC required, just a fender liner mod. If you go 1.75" up front, I highly recommend you go 1.5" - 1.75" in the back. The Pro sits level. If you lift any more, you need to go up evenly otherwise will you will end up with negative rake.

I appreciate the quick reply/feedback. I'll be sure to look into Kings. I don't have exact measurements but with the this kit I gained about 1" upfront eliminating most of the nose dive but its not leveled. By eyeballing, currently I would guess the rear is 1" higher than the front. I'd like to get as level as possible so that's why i was originally thinking of doing the 2:1 but i'd be cool with 2:2 to avoid negative rake.

You gained 3/4" up front and you are sitting just about level. Look at my post just above your reply for reference.

Who here has installed this kit under a 2wd 4Runner? How much lift did you get out of it without any additional spacers or anything extra at all, just out of the box? I'm helping someone out with a 2wd and trying to see where he'll be so I know what else he may need to get what he wants out of it.

The Bilstein B12 springs advertises 1" to 1.5" so hopefully they will be ok.

If the Pro sits level with stock springs in the rear and .75" lift in the front over the SR5/TRDOR, it seems like it should sit level even if the Bilstein B12 rear springs come in at 1" min lift and with 0.5" thick spacer on the front giving 1.75" lift, based on the .75" difference in lift from front to back.

I was going to order Cornfed spacers until I found out they are plastic. I'm going to go with the Wheeler's black anodized aluminum spacers and they are only $45/pair.

Cornfed spacers are the best on the market, period. If you go with any other spacer, make sure you get the 10MM spacer for the DS otherwise you will get DS lean. Cornfed is the only company smart enough to made the DS spacer slightly thicker than the PS spacer to account for this. Plastic or not, they are extremely strong and they will not fail. I trust them over any of the aluminum spacers or steel fabricated spacers out there.

I know the Cornfed rear spacers are thicker on the driver side to compensate for the lean.

Are you saying they also make the front spacers thicker on the driver side for the lean? But in our case it seems like that should not be problem because the driver's side TRD front shocks are set at the top notch to get a little more preload to compensate for the lean.

No, just the rears are thicker on the DS. Front OEM coil spring is longer on the DS than the PS to compensate for the lean and with the Pro as you stated you use the top clip rather than the lower clip. Running the Pro suspension will give you .75" up front. Adding a 3/8" top hat spacer will give you an additional .75" so you would sit 1.5" over stock. Add a 1.5" spacer in the back and you're good to go. That's where I started after swapping out my ToyTec ultimate kit and still cleared my 295s without an issue. I actually loved the small lift large tire look.

I'm thinking I may go with the 1.5/1.0" instead of 1.75/1.0" to be safe. I don't want it looking all weird with a negative rake if there are passengers and cargo in the rear.

I was going to go with spacers in the rear but the Bilstein B12 springs became on sale for $158.
