bilsteins or KYB

So I have a decision to make. On ebay I can get a set of 4 HD Bilsteins for 289, free shipping. Or I can get a set of 4 KYB Monos for 209 with free shipping. Are the bilsteins worth $80 better than the KYBs?

I'm not sure about KYB, but Bilstein has a lifetime warranty.....that even covers wear out....I just got a new set after putting 30,000 miles on mine and having them wear out. You'll pay more but you'll probably have them for the rest of you ownership....:biggrin2:

I was considering the KYBs too, but went with the Bilsteins. Great shocks.

i have KYB monomax... they have lifetime warranty too (most people usually dont use becuase it requires you to have a car without shocks for some time while they send you new ones... and they dont wear out that fast usually). I like them a lot.. definetely stiffer than OEM.. but ive heard they are less stiff than bilstein.. i dont have any experience to back that up though. They are both great top of the line shocks.. i dont think you can go wrong.

Thanks for the replies guys. Just ordered the KYBs off ebay. I'm sure the Bils are great, but I didn't want to splurge for the extra $80.
