4x4 Labs Bumper and airbags?

Hey Ben,

When Luke and the 4x4 Labs crew were working on the new bumper, were there any modifications to the stock crush absorber? It is there to make sure your air bags don't go off with too light of a hit. Maybe this pic will help explain - file attached

There is no modification so that they work as originally designed. Luke and team do not want to disrupt any of the safely equipment. Only big difference is really the other car would have more carnage...

Do you have a pic of the sliders with some doors open? Looks like it wouldn't need the trail trim at all.

Thanks! For over two years I've been saying all someone had to do was make them span tire to tire like these and no trail trim or trimming would have to be done. I love this look! Best I've seen for a SR5 or LE yet. I'm inquiring on cost/shipping and lead time on these now. I want mine without the bumpout but that's just me. Thanks again! Hoping price, shipping, and lead time is reasonable!

PS- these are strong enough w/ ubolts to use a high lift jack on right?

I've been wanting sliders for my SR5 but wanted to avoid getting aftermarket rocker trim or having to trim the existing rockers. These are a definite possibility for me if they'd be available w/o the kickout at the rear.

[MENTION=45399]thebwlife[/MENTION] and [MENTION=73139]N2GLOCK[/MENTION] yes you can get without bump out, straight or without tubes. They are strong enough to use the high lift as that was a build criteria.

I was only able to fit two laser guided missiles since the eyelets weren’t big enough for a larger capacity rocket launcher... it was either that or independently wired fogs and light bar.

I noticed this before and couldn't remember whose truck I had seen it on... low and behold... I like the high sides on the rear bumper. Not only does it look like you have gained some departure angle, it appears to offer some pretty solid protection for a troublesome area. Not to mention it definitely improves the rear aesthetic, makes the back end look way less frumpy.

CBI was the only other that I have seen to take that rear quarter crush protection into account (maybe there are others?), that would be, now, my second favorite rear bumper to date

3D Liners

Hey there- Looks like you have the 3D Liners installed? How do you like them? When you have a moment, would you be able to post up a pic of the front driver and passenger and back? I have weathertech digital fits, but might want to make the switch when my 2014 comes in...just waiting to see what they look like installed!

Just did a run through of your build here. Very impressive I might say.

Personally haven't seen any built gen5 myself and only have ran with gen3 guys.

Keep up the good work there.
