Keep your eyes open. I'm in your hometown often. I live in Davis. Lots of stock 5th gens but I haven't seen any others around either. I look for all the runners I can so one day we are bound to cross paths!

Bye Bye Chrome!
Finally got around to spraying out the chrome handles. Krylon Fusion flat black. Love how 3 came out. Skrewed one up (seems obligatory...). Guess I get to have some more practice. Missed a part and didn't see it until I took off all the protection. Then, I decided to try to "touch it up." Note to self: DO NOT DO THAT AGIAN!

Thanks! The km2s don't like the ice but did great in the powder. I'll dig up some more of the bumper or you can take a look at Mikey's build thread as he was the one who let Luke design off his truck. Mine is basically the same with a ladder instead of the fuel carrier. I'll look and see if I have more rear pics too. I drove both locked and unlocked in snow. Worked great! The video has rear locker on so I could be free to drift and I had all the stability nannies turned off. Front lockers were used on one very slippery icy hill not pictured or in the video and they did the job but I only use those when absolutely necessary and try not to do a lot of turning.

Hi There!
For that second pic, what's the 30" Rigid bar mounted on? Are you using the "behind the grill mod" bracket? If not, please share.
You have any photos of your truck at night with that light on? Just want to see if the emblem obstructs a lot of the light.

Thanks! I don’t know if I have any night shots of the lights. I need to do that! The emblem does block the 30 a little bit but the whole thing is going bye bye anyhow (not enough to diminish output in any way - this thing puts out a lot of light: spot pattern).
Luke at 4x4 Labs designed a upper grill to tie in with the bumper mesh but didn’t get it done before I picked it up and with the holidays we pushed it to this month...stay tuned. The 30 is on a custom bracket. I need to get in there and take pics but also designed by 4x4 Labs.

Nice set up, I see your running in my neck of the woods just up the hill.
My ultimate goal is to put a lift and new roof rack on and was curious what your clearance was. I want to still fit in the garage so I will likely have to go with the same baja rack you have.

I’m actually down the hill from you. Lol. I live/work in Davis. I have never measured my clearance, but it is not too tall to go into my garage. I can throw a tape on it soon for you if you want to know the clearance. If you want a great deal, I may be willing to sell my baja though. I prefer the one from drabbits. You should check that one out (I’ll even measure to the top of my roof and you can add the height gain from his rack if you like his too)! If you are stuck on the bajarack, let me know and maybe we can work a deal!

Guess that's why I haven't seen you running around at all.
I have see the Drabbits one and it is pretty nice, i also like the Gobi but not the price.
My garage clearance I think is low at 82 1/4" tall. Not sure I could fit a basket style rack plus a 3 inch lift. It would be great if you could let me know how tall you are sitting now that would let me know which way I can go. If a basket won't clear I may if I can convince the wife be interested in the Baja so you can get the Drabbits :Cry: won't be fair
let me know next time you will be in the area I wouldn't mind checking out your rig since I haven't really started yet.

Prototype grill. Final product will be powder coated and have more surprises. This will fill the void till then.
So are there any talks of a production version? It seems as time passes more and more aftermarket parts are coming available.
