Decided to do a plastidip version of going black on my flares and decided to do the gas cover as well. I like it so think I will keep my plans to do the monstaliner when I finally get to that project with the fzj80 as well. Almost ready, its just getting all the prep work done that isn’t as fun. Subtle but I think it flows better this way than with the body colored flares. Thanks to [MENTION=55815]Okki[/MENTION] for the warning so I didn’t take them off and break a bunch of stuff!

Ordered up Icon Stage 5 LT kit, heavy spring rate and 700lb front CO spring rate. I just need the additional droop! Been drooling over the LT kit for months and finally go up and ordered it! :hat:

I'm doing the same very shortly but going with the medium spring and Radflo 2.5" shock body.

Are you happy with the rear coils that come in the toytec ultimate kit?

i just got a CBI rear with swing out and want to compensate for the weight but don't want the 3" that Icon expo coils give. I see that you have airbags too, how often do you need to use them with this setup thanks. sorry for the Newb questions.

Edit** probably should have read the last few pages instead of asking from the first page. i see you upgraded, id still like some feedback on your previous coil performance.

The Toytec coils are fine as long as you aren't hanging 300 + lbs off the back and then loading it up. Honestly the ride is great, it is just the weight that is too much for these. I am assured by Metaltech that the heavy long travel springs will be enough for the weight I am running. I had to run the airbags at about 10lbs not to get sag in the coils but they kinda get in the way offroad. It feels like they act to stop up-travel a little early (not horrible, but some). I am removing them with the Icon kit going in. Hopefully I never have an issue with wishing they were back, but they are really easy to install.

My honest opinion is that you could probably be happy with the superflex coils but I wish they made a slightly heavier spring.

Not sure if it worth it or now but Toytec has there new Heavy duty Superflex coil. Not sure if that is what you have or not. States it is rated for extra 400lbs of weight.

Ben I keep meaning to ping you, those rock sliders are they weld or bolt on and price wise comparable to others? Was just thinking when i am ready to get some 4x4 labs is just up the highway :happy:

These are the comparable to bud built beefy of metaltech I believe. They use 3x u-bolts to attach. They are super heavy duty! If you want to see them in person before you decide, we could easily meet up.

Lots of goodies! I have the MT uppers installed and the normal Stage 5 LT kit. The shop I used (affiliated with 4x4 Labs and is named NC4x4) played with it for quite a while to get the adjustments perfect for max droop and adjusted a few things like e-brake and I do have extended brake lines (included in MT kit). for reference, those are 34s on there.

Sliders off to modify slightly due to being a little too close to the lower arms. Front bumper is off for this:

That's either a power steering cooler/trans cooler or a really, really, really small intercooler for the turbo that TRD just released.

Lol! I wish. I was really close to going for the first 5th sas. It's a power steering fluid cooler because the labs bumper is so high it fully exposes the lines this is part of the rerouting of the lines.
