Bit the bullet....... Bedlining whole t4r

Well I finally decided that I'm going to do bedline the whole t4r. I am using monstaline and am going to spray it on. I ordered 2 gallons of desert sand and 1 gallon of black. I'm going for a two toned look by having the whole body in desert with black accents ( bumpers, flares, mirrors, door handles, roof rack)

I'm going to be completing the project next weekend! Hopefully I don't screw it up and hopefully it turns out good enough more t4r owners will do it instead of just all the jeep guys. I have a picture in another thread of what it should look like. Pictures up soon!

Just FYI, bedliner paint job only looks good when clean, they attract everything and anything it can find, dirt mud bugs, nything touches it it will leave residue.

That's gonna awesome dude! Same way my buddy did his XJ and it turned out good even rolled on. The finish on it wasn't too glossy but smooth enough to be easily cleaned. We used steel wool to rough up the paint. Good luck man!

Becuase OP actually wheels, plastiderp is for mall crawler only, that shit comes off so fast from pinstripping

I'd use industrial paint or wrap it. I think the bedliner will look like your trying to hide a lot of bad body work. And +2 to the attracting dirt....bedliner looks like trash after a while with people that actually use them and get them dirty.

You know what would be cool, i always wanted to stripe all the paint and let it rust for a bit then clear over it.

Wait, you sprayed over the door seems, how are you going to get in it now ?

I like the rust clear coat idea myself.

I had the lower section sprayed with Rhino lining on the dodge, stopped all the rock chips and held up great.

No I'm did not and am not going to do door seems, when you open the door its just going to be a black paint since mine is already black. It shouldn't look too out of place since the whole t4r will be black and the tan

The rust clear coat idea reminds me of fast and loud, they always do it. It looks badass and it's cool to have a car that looks rough from the outside but runs like a champ. Haha it throws people off.

The way this stuff it it dosnt attract dirt that much. It has no rubber pieces so it's not even a rough finish. All the texture is made from the spray or rolling on. Tons of people have done it and are in the process of doing it. If you look on Facebook you can see a bunch of projects. The coolest one in my opinion is a whole Nissan xterra tooled in "bloodbath" Here's the website if you wanna check it out Monstaliner do-it-yourself roll-on truck bed liner outperforms Herculiner Bed Liner, Duplicolor and Rustoleum Road Warrior it's really neat stuff and not like most bed liners

well i got some time today and thought to start taking some things off so i took off the fender flares, roof rack, door handles ( all besides driver side) and a few other odds and ends. i cant wait for this weekend! tomorrow i will sand and tape off. saturday i will paint the black and maybe the desert depending on time. more photos to come ! also got the paint!
