Black plug on back of JBL radio

Anyone know what I unplugged to connect my GTA audio kit? This is on the back of the Panasonic JBL RDS radio. Everything seems to work.

I used Velcro to place the GTA unit behind the AC/Heater/Clock display.

If I remember correctly, it's for rear seat audio.

I checked this morning, rear audio works fine also. At this point, I'm not going to worry about it.

The sound quality of this kit is excellent, and even the phone calls sound clear.

He meant the rear seat audio controls. If you look at your dome light, you will notice a screen on the backside of it. I didn't even realize my 4runner had it for the first few months I owned it. It requires a remote control to operate it. Not having it plugged in will not affect anything with your sound or head unit.

Me neither. That's why I didn't know I had it. Mine is left unplugged behind HU as well.
