Black (stock) 20" Limited Rims

OK so following in Andrew's footsteps (adio3x), I just finished a weekend long project of painting my stock rims. I won't go into the crazy details of the process as that has pretty much already been described. So rather than recreate the wheel (no pun intended), I figured I would take on this project now that I have seen others do it with great success. :bigok:

Very nice. IMO those wheels are just a tad blingy, but I like the style, so your paint job knocks the bling out and ends up a nice improvement. Nice job on the hubs too.

Looks great. Can you tell me the part number and how easy the install was on the PIAA in the lower grill? I've been wanting to install those or a couple LED lights.

I painted the backside of the rim as well because you can see right through the Limited rims (I did not want to have two tone rims :nerd. This might not be so much of an issue on the Trail's though.

Sorry for the lousy iphone picture, but that was during the install. As for the Piaa's, they are the Piaa 5161 (510 model 4"). They are the same ones many other members have installed as well (I know Harper has them as well - which btw is where I got the idea to do mine :thanks. The install has been discussed on some other posts, but it is pretty straight forward, just time consuming. You have to remove the front bumper to gain access to mounting them. This is slightly overwhelming at first, but I assure you is very simple and quick. The only tough part of the whole install was spacing the lights properly in the lower grill - this requires taking on and off the bumper about 1,000x to ensure both height and depth of the tight fitting 4" lights. And be sure to take your time while cutting out the lower grill for your new lights! Anyway, if you have any questions while doing it, feel free to shoot me a PM. Good luck!
