Excellent Product...

I already have this 2ch installed on my Trail. It is excellent for capturing both front and rear during your trail runs. Also, good for those unplanned LA freeway encounters. They have a kits to hardwire or batter pack and affords you to be notified if your car is tapped while parking. Mine is hardwired. I have several extra memory stored in the vehicle and swap out after runs or events. You can also pair with your smart phone to monitor the events realtime. You can even watch the valet park your car or the service bay movement from your phone. Go for it.

Looks like a cool product. Just bought a Trackimo, but this looks like it could do what that does and much more. What are you using for hotspot as that info has to be relayed somehow between car and phone. I can imagine that would get expensive.
 
I'm in for a DR750s-2ch 16gb.

I have a dr650 currently in the runner. I've had multiple other dashcams in my prior car, none of them really lasting past 6 months or so before dying. The Blackvue has been a champion, the parking mode always still faithfully running when i get back to the truck.

Curious, what are you using to communicate between your 4R and your phone? Do you have a hotspot in your car? Just trying to see what most are using. Trackimo is $60 for 3G service so you can track it. For $100 more if I can get this and get cameras front and rear it would be nice to know the hidden costs for the cloud/tracking service.

I really only use the hotspot at my home wifi to remotely view the storage. I don't have it permanently connected to the cloud while out and about.

OK...cool. Curious, since it has built in GPS can you log in and see where you're car is at on the app? One thing I'm looking for this to do is to track my car if someone should steal it, but I'm thinking without a wifi hotspot IN the car at all times I wouldn't be able to use that function.

Bought a FreedomPop years ago. Free wifi hotspot (500Mb). Fair service and I do not need streaming anything. Just the ticket. Only a notification of incident. Life has too many other adventures to be looking at a small screen or even a computer all the time. Seems like work:bounce:.
