If you're looking at the above lineup photo, the madness started with the other two black 4runners both 98 and 99 consecutively..My brothers owned them since brand new.

Only in the garage while they were being hooked up. Still they're Hella bright.
The lights are also pencil beam so I can only imagine the distance of beam thrown by them.

The fit on the Shrockworks is perfect while not being overly invasive. Also the depth is the right size since once mounted, they don't protrude past the bumper, especially if you have a Satoshi grille.

I'm running the 4k's on my 96 runner with our bumper, if you ask me theres no light that looks better on there! They are pretty deep though, and I had to cut out some notches in the grill for the little nub on the back of the housing.

I have been running them for about 4 years now, acctually pulled them off my 88 4Runner and they are great. Deffinatly good bang for the buck.

No worries and i`m sure you`re gonna love the Hella 4k`s.

The fit depends on how recessed your Satoshi mesh is...On my brothers, they fit perfectly with room for proper aiming. Even with the lights tilted upwards which is not ideal, he`d still have space in between the lights nubs and the mesh.

His grille is butted up against the two lower corner brackets that holds the snap clips, just to give you reference.

Those retrofits look amazing! I've never been a fan of them on our rigs... but your's have me changing my mind! lol!

NOW TINT THOSE FRONT WINDOWS MAN! I swear you'll like it... and it will really set your rig off!

Yep who would've known that everything I started and amassed from 3 years ago would pay dividence in a very unsuspecting ending? I'm just simply GRATEFUL and humbled by/for all this.

The retrofit headlights wow.....Why didn't I do them much much sooner?
You should definitely do it man!

As far as tinting the fronts, i'm abit leary of it since I had a previous encounter with the authority in that regard..I would love to do it in the 4Runner considering I only have factory tints all the way around, and would love to get more privacy and better aesthetics with a darker tint. My Hilux Surf tail gate has clear glass roll window so that definitely needs to be addressed at some point as well....I'ts been on my to-do list for so long and hopefully by summer, I'll get around to it.

Maybe I'll get the lightest tint film for the fronts like yours..maybe.

It feels really rewarding to be honest, considering the many choices of cool and nice and well-built rigs in here. And as I've mentioned, i'm just lucky to be in a good company of enthusiastic and passionate owners such as you and everyone in every Gen.

I'll be sure to notify you of my next visit dude...but as of now no plans have been agreed upon between us brothers. We keep in toucn on a regular basis though, so things could change in a jiff.
