Joe's is just outside of Penticton (I do think there's one in Ontario). Some pretty sweet old logging roads on the way in. My buddy and I want to make a return trip and take our rigs up (he's got a lifted '02 Tacoma).
 
Ah! now that might be a place of interest being it's still here in BC. I'll look that place up and let my buddy know..we can swing it for sure!

I did, only me being the generous brother and all, I settled for the OME's and gave my 8wraps to that silver 994runner that my brother owns. Awhh!

Would've had them a long time ago.

I think we should organize a meet! I'm always down for BC roadtrips. Maybe we could find some trails in BC and plan for a camp/wheeling trip next season?? Maybe meet in Whipsaw and go from there...??

Ok, it's settled. Before I end the massive threadjack, lets all do some research maybe and find some trails or areas we would wanna hit in BC (in the middle of us all). In early spring I'll start a thread with some ideas and trail info, we can then go from there as far as dates go! cool.

I actually don't know BC much at all. I used to go up there a lot more when I had more friends who lived in Vancouver and I used to dirtbag it a bit more up in Squamish. Other than that, I don't know much. I've wanted to go check out the old mining roads up behind Britannia since someone here posted pics (could have been you). A big group of about 25 of us did a camping trip to Joe's. Half of us drove in while the other half flew in on a chopper (don't ask lol). All of us hiked out. I was on the chopper side, so I didn't see the roads that led up into there until the way out. They were killer. Got me psyched to return, but to return and drive it.

Yeah I hear of Britannia mines over in BC4x4 forum alot, and IIRC you were planning on exploring it in past discussions, either on this thread or somewhere else. I have yet to get there myself

The view must've been spectacular up on the chopper leading up to Joe's, I imagine?

That's fine, we could all use a pause from viewing my truck for a change in return for some glimpse of BC's majestic landscape.

Looks like some great trails due for exploration. Good aerial shots too, man!
