So I have the ticking sound coming from behind the dash. I have looked around and seen, what I believe is the blend door actuator "hunting" for position. This has been covered in detail and I have read, and seen, that it can be a PITA to get to the screws, but do-able.
My real question is this..
I have noticed that my passenger and driver outermost vents seem to blow air no matter the setting of the controls. Defrost only mode still blows air out of the outermost vents, same in floor only mode. The amount of air blowing out of the outermost vents is noticable but not with the same force/volume as the selected mode (hope that makes sense).
Is that also a symptom of a failing blend door actuator?
