Blu ray player ?

Eh, have you look at the new laptop lately? They're all missing the build-in DVD Rom. You still need them once in a bluemoon but that's why they have USB drive.

My new Dell laptop came with a DVD player..I took it out and replaced it with a SSD drive. So now it has 2 500gb SSD drives.

I have two kids in college...One at graduate school at Harvard..and the other at RPI. The school book stores all sell software..and NONE are distributed via USB. The media is either BlueRay or DVD. Or some just have a key..then you go on-line and download the software after you type in the key.

My company still distributes it's software on DVD. Since we don't sell the the general public....we don't offer a on-line solution. Plus a good portion of our customers are overseas...which means even if we did offer an on-line solution...they may not be able to get it because of connectivity problems.
