Blue tooth pairing

As the title suggests. I'm stuck on how to enter a pass code from my phone as their is no physical keyboard. It pairs actually but won't connect. How's everyone entering the pass code numbers? Got a droid razr. Don't understand why I need a pass code either. Is it a high security function? I have a -2012 SR5. Any suggestions appreciated.

Been a while since I did this but I seem to remember that the truck gives you the pass code which you enter into the phone.

Either check your manual or search YouTube for the demo.

Yeah your right, but finding input process on the phone is the trick. I changed the passcode with no problem, just not finding input method on phone's end.
edit, awesome! just started working without a code. sweet!

Huh? Use your phone's keyboard. If not physical they all have virtual ones. I'm typing this on a iPad with "no keyboard".

I tried in on my Droid 2. Menu, Settings, Call Settings, then Show Dialpad.
It will give a few choices. Hope this helps.

Got it figured out . Just started working and sounds great. Thanks for everyone's input. And if it asks for a code again I'll try my kb, duh, !
