Bluetooth audio screen flicker

Hi Everyone: i recently bought a new '17 SR5 (traded in 07 SR5) and I love it. One odd thing, when listening to my iPhone music via bluetooth, i get a lot of screen flicker, like it is refreshing. I did see one post via Google about this possibly being due to low signal strength (on the iPhone I assume) but it happens all the time regardless of signal strength - twice when tracks are changing, and at random times during the music. And I don't understand why signal strength would be an issue, the iPhone is right there in my pocket. Read the manual, no insight there. Searched this forum, could not find anything. Any insight on on this? Thanks!

But yeah, mine does too (the flicker), and other get rebooting issues, etc.

And one day for kicks, I tried BT vs USB. OMG, the BT sound quality really does suck
