Body Lift - 1997 T4R 4x4 standard trans????

I have 33 inch tires on my T4R and they rub a little off road. I dont want to mess with the suspension but want a lift. it is a 4x4, standard trans.

will a 2.5 inch lift be enough?
will i need a diff drop with a 2.5 inch body lift?

will something like this work?

That only for the front but you get the idea.
