body lift options?

What do you guys think of doing a two inch body lift before doing a suspension lift?

I was debating on doing the body lift and front bumper at the same time so I could order a bumper that accounts for it. I figured a body and suspension lift would help me be able to run bigger tires (if I'm wrong correct me).

I want to get:
-4xInnovations plate front bumper
-not sure on skids (open to suggestions)
-rear bumper (matching or or CBI)
-not sure on sliders (open to suggestions)
-suspension lift that would best suit my needs and armor I plan on getting (open to suggestions)
-body lift if you guys think it would hep clear larger tires
-largest tire I can comfortably fit

These are my plans they are not set in stone, but I'm just looking for opinions on this plan and possible suggestions on brands to go with. The one thing i am pretty set on that's on the list is the front bumper but before I can order it I need opinions and input on the body lift option.

thanks for any input and opinions offered.

I made a thread the other week where people can list lifts, tires, and wheels. Start by looking at the sticky for lifts and go from there. shootmymime makes custom body lifts and knows a ton so hit him up. I like the 4x sliders and they were pretty cheap. You're gonna want to do a lot of searching as a lot of these questions have been answered already. Good luck with everything though

You've got to decide where you want to go with the build. When it comes to mods, every single one always has a trade off or two, and you're way better off knowing those before you make any decisions.

I.E. You can run a body lift and clear 35's with ease, but with 35's you'll most likely need to re-gear, the body lift raises your COG, etc, etc.

Or you could get a 3 inch lift that rides nice now, but once you add hundreds of pounds of armor, you won't get 3 inches of lift anymore.

Getting the best out of your build means thinking ahead and making sure all of your mods are cohesive.

Trust me, I ended up with a bumper for a 3 inch BL, and now I don't want my 3 inch BL anymore, or the bumper, so I basically lost out of the money from the bumper, and the body lift, you should make a checklist of what you want and really research each step as it comes, If I would've seen RockDawg's build thread before I got into it, I would've never got a body lift, but I got ahead of myself.
