Body lift question

So with a 2" body lift, other than what is required in this kit, are there any other parts I need to pick up? I understand that I would need to relocate the front bumper.

Don't go with a toy tech. Go with a Roger Brown, aka 4crawler. He has EVERYTHING you need. Including bumper relocation brackets, and rad drop brackets.

You need the lift spacers, steering spacer, front bumper lift brackets. I just took the lower radiator fan shroud off and didnt need to relocate radiator but you may also need those brackets.

Scroll down to the 1997-2000. Full kit looks like its 164.50 I didn't need the rad drop brackets because I did a 1.5" motor lift when I did mine.

I just recently put toytecs 1'' body lift on. It comes with everything you need. The relocation bracket for your bumper isn't a necessity, it just makes it more eye appealing. To be honest the 1'' gap isn't too awful, its not beautiful but completely tolerable. I can imagine the 2'' gap would drive me crazy. I could post pics of the lift tomorrow for you if you want? The way the side body bolts go together look a bit strange and may confuse you, so if you go with toytec let me know and I can send you some pics.

I just recently put toytecs 1'' body lift on. It comes with everything you need. The relocation bracket for your bumper isn't a necessity, it just makes it more eye appealing. My Tacoma has a 3" body lift with no bumper mount brackets and it looks fine.

ToyTec's kit has everything you need.

You don't need brackets to relocate the bumper, you can either redrill the holes in the brackets to match the body lift or you can tack weld the bumper in place 1 or 2 inches higher.

Here is what the bumper looks like after a 1'' BL.

The side of the body has 3 body bolts, the front has two, and the rear has two.
On the sides the body bolts are a bit strange looking with the toytec BL lift installed. The middle bolt on the side ends up looking like this:

The bushing doesn't actually sit on the frame anymore.

The rear bolt on the side looks fine because it has a double sized bushing:

You get three different sized bolts with this kit. If you end up installing it I can let you know which ones go where.

I am hopefully getting the deluxe bull bar ARB bumper for the tacoma this week, I am going to see how that sits first and then make that decision. I am not a fan of the drilling holes idea though. From what I read if you drill the holes out you are only able to get two of the bolts in on each side as opposed to all three. I don't know how much truth there is to that, but if it is true, I don't want a couple hundred pound steel bumper being held on by only two of the bolts on each side. It may just be me being overly cautious, but thats my opinion.
