I'm going to do a body lift on my 4Runner but what parts do I need to do it? Also 2" lift will give me clearance for what size tires? Will this affect anything doing a body lift ie gaps or anything cosmeticly looks wise ect.?

All help will be welcomed.

I can only answer a few of these... For the body lift you'll need the pucks, extended bolts, and extended steering spacer. Not sure what size tires you can fit with a 2" lift. This does give you a 2" frame gap and on my '00 limited it gave me a gap between my front bumper and the bottom of the grill. My bumper is attached to the frame so it was not lifted with the body. Not sure how your '99 is set up. Hope this helps.

I'm going back and forth on this. I ordered a 2" body lift from shootmymime to help with clearing 285/75-16 Duratracs on my 2000 Limited. Due to a short delay in getting the lift, I went ahead and mounted my new tires. They rubbed the OEM bumper a little in places, so I got my Dremel tool out and cut some of the rubbing spots away. Pretty much got everything to clear without rubbing in normal driving, so I kinda decided to not install the body lift... Until I took her offroad. I took her down into a ditch at a 45 degree angle, and stuffed the rear left tire. I mean stuffed. The whole damned tire rubbed the entire wheel well from what I could see. So, I guess the body lift is going on after all. I'm lifted with OME fronts and LC 8.5 wraps in the rear.

Did you put longer bump stops in the rear? I have 8 wraps & 1"BL 285's & I dont touch the wheel well.
