body Lift to suspension lift?

So im ready for a lift ... Thinking 3" body or suspension lift...dont want to have to replace stuff or end up qwith a loose suspension...plus I'm on a budget already spending around $300 on rancho shocks with coils with labor...so yea any advice? Thanks

read the lift sticky. and are those coil that you are buy just stock replacement? if so, don't waste your money. if your suspension is in need of replacing, you might as well get a full suspension lift like the Toytec Ultimate, Full OME suspension, or the Sonoran Steel lift.

See I dont make bank I was going this good suspension shocks and coils because my trucks are all worn out then a buddy told me yo do a body lift but yea I mention money I was like dam... He said spacers wss the cheapest way to go?

SAVE YOUR MONEY, do not go with a 3" body lift, not a good idea, especially on a suv, body roll gets hairy at that height and very unstable, save your money and just go with a full lift kit, want to go cheap, thats fine, get some LC coils for the rear, and go like ome 881 and top out spacer upfront, and just some LC shocks out rear, end up spending like 400-450, thats putting everything in yourself. All in all i think thats pretty darn cheap

No the cheapest option is a spacer lift but you are basically pissing money away by doing that, the cheapest option you can get away with is a coil lift, specifically some LC8's with LC spec Ranch RS5000's which should be $180 ish for that half, and tundra struts in the front which should be $200 ish, but you will have to read the lift thread to get more info on these. That will get you about 3+" of lift.
