Just wondering what ppl think about BL's i want to get 1 but what do most ppl prefer 1" or 1.5"...I personally think anything higher then 1.5" is to high but i want to know what others have gone with.
1.25 works great on our 4th gens. You can move the bumper up one set of bolts on the bumper bracket and its exactly 1.25 giving you the factory gap around the front bumper.
I went 1.25 just to give a little extra clearance on my 285's and Im pretty happy with the results. Install was fairly easy, just time consuming doing it by myself. If you want a lift I would definitely go the suspension route first and then use the body lift only to fit bigger tires.
yea i'm looking into doing this on my rig as well... was thinking just an inch, but now that i'm aware of the exact spacing on the bumper moving up to the other holes 1.25" i'll prob just go that route. how difficult/what all is really needed to install a body lift like this? i've never done one before.
I would probably go wiht a 1" BL. I've done them before from RB and I've liked the look. Not to much but subtle enough to notice.
Does anyone have any experience installing a body lift with front and rear after market bumpers. The rear one I'm not so much worried about as the front. Does a shrockworks (or any other front bumper) limit access to any of the mounts?
This is a question out of complete curiosity, havent had time to go under and look at everything.
so the factory bumper mounts line up perfect on a 1.25" lift for the front bumper if you move up one notch... is this also the case with the rear bumper? i want to add a BL for clearance on my tires and would just do an inch, but if the 1.25" lines up perfect... i'll prob go that route.
