Body Side Molding

Has anyone added color matched body side molding to their 2010 4Runner?
It appears that Toyota does not offer it, and I know my truck is going to take a beating at the school were my wife teaches at. Thanks.

Put on Shrockworks Rock Rails... a sedan door will hit those before it hits the actual door panels... plus it makes the truck look a little more adventurous.

Okki :)

I am going to call around and see if I can find a dealer with the moulding, I know it may not look the coolest, but you should see the sides of my wife's Subaru, it`s a mess from her work and there is only one lot that she can park on. Thanks.

This one fits and matches

I put these on my gray trail. They fit and match perfectly. They were shipped one day after order and were packed suitable for air drop.

Striking the right line for installing is going to be a matter of taste since the top and bottom lines of the rocker panels and door window block are not parallel.

If you decide to order from here, click around their site for coupons, discounts, and free shipping offers.

Thanks for the link! They look pretty good.

I researched the moldings from the 2nd post. The look really nice. I called Greenwich Toyota. They have a guy that does them. Price is too steep for me: $495 installed. I'm going to do some measuring...I see they make them in blizzard pearl for the avalon for $100. Maybe they'll fit. lol

I have. If I ever manage to get home before dark I'll post a pic. I got it from brightworks.com (found it on this website). You give them the paint code (they'll help you find it if you're unsure). It matches exactly and was pretty easy to install. I made a jig that I taped to the truck just to be certain I installed it straight, but it just uses 3m double faced taped. Very pleased with the look and so far (fingers crossed) it's done it's job.

I ordered the one from Sportwing, it looks pretty good. When I install it, I will post some pictures.

Side Molding

I got mine from Beaverworks as well. Very easy to install, but I must have measured 50 times just to make sure I was straight.I have a SR5 Magestic Gray. The color match is dead on. I even laid them on the hood for a few hours in the sun to see if I could see any difference....I will post some pic...Just got the nerf bars on this past weekend.

Baby is looking sweet!

I put these on my FJ and on my 4Runner. They hold up well and look (almost) stock.

I was going to take some this afternoon, but we had some storms blow through. I will post a few tomorrow afternoon, they do look good, and I even got them on straight.

Who is "Beaverworks?"

brightworks.com is not the right URL. Do you know what it is supposed to be?

I just saw the price difference and the ones from Sportwing are over $30 cheaper and they are identical, if not the exact same product. Just trying to save you some money.

As promised, a few quick pic`s... The white stuff on the first pic is just a reflection from my garage.

They look good , I think I'll go for them , thanks for the pics. It will be a sad day though when a door ding occours above or below the molding . Ya just can,t win with all the different car and truck door heights
