Bolt stud size for positive terminal?

I bought these (https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/...e-epoxy-coated/ss01/08507?q=battery+terminals) hoping to replace some corroded battery connectors during a battery change. While they fit onto the battery terminals just fine, I could not connect the positive wires to the 3/8" diameter studs on the positive terminal. They were too big. Do you know what size studs the positive terminal fits onto?

They were designed around M8 studs, which is smaller than 3/8". I would suggest getting an (OEM) terminal set meant for a first gen Avalon. Studs for both positive and negative side, Toyota quality. You'll have to make your own ground wires for the negative side to the fender and block if you do the negative side.

Keep those terminals covered in something to keep corrosion at bay. (fluid film, silicon spray, dielectric grease, etc.) It seems that most new 'sealed' batteries still leak a bit of corrosive gas from the terminals...

Thank you! I just went to my local auto parts store and bought this. They also confirmed M8 studs. Hopefully this helps others who may have this question. And the negative terminal looks like it has its own thing going on. So not going to mess with that as it doesn't look like a simple bolt on change like the positive terminal.
