Bolts for RCI Filler Plate?

I received my RCI filler plate but the factory bolts won't work with it. It didn't come with any installation hardware and I haven't heard back from Josh @ RCI yet. I visited my local Lowes Hardware and couldn't find one with the right thread size. Anybody know the correct size I need? Thanks

Why don't you post a picture of what bolts you are talking about (location on the plate)

If it is the forward most, I'm pretty sure those are factory hardware m6.

It is usually a very standard m6, m8, m10 x 1.0 Maybe x 1.25.

Yes, forward most bolts on bumper. Maybe I'll have better luck search home depot.

On mine, that is factory hardware holding that on.

But it has been a long time and I removed the air dam and all that BS. It is probably an m6

Did you end up finding the size? I went to finally put my filler plate on and was having issues lining it up. I think the issue is the spacer on the radiator supports for my lift, it's very close but I didn't want to mess with it any more and figured new longer bolts would be easier.

Yeah, I went to my local home depot and purchased I believe either an m6 or m8 bolt. They were cheap. My filler plate didnt have any issues lining up at all but another member did as it wasnt bent to spec for his 2014+SR5.

Sounds like you may have the same issue I had with the front diff drop kit from Toytec...check out this post in my build thread for my experience but I went back and forth with Josh at RCI a lot and ended up sending my plate back to him to bend the plate further (didn't want to crank the bolts down to bend the bumper tabs, and didn't want to get longer bolts because it would have left a gap). It's not the diff drop as I didn't bother with that. The radiator support spacers from Toytec cause the gap. I'll just get longer bolts, much easier. I may pick up a few washers just in case the bend is more than I'd like but it's pretty close now.

Got the longer bolts from lowes, worked perfect M6-1.0 x 30, picked up fender washer from HD 1/4". Stainless for both, probably $5. I was there anyway getting other stuff.

Got the new bolts started then tightened the lowers against skid, then tightened top. Doesn't move, will check after some miles.
