BOSS Coilover 550 vs 600lb springs

So, I am thinking about switching out my OME front setup for some BOSS Coilovers. I've run my OME 881/890 combo for almost 3 years now and I am looking for a change. Recently I swapped OME shocks in the rear for Bilstein 5125s. That dramatically changed the ride in the rear.

So... my question... I am torn between going with 550 or 600 lb coils. Knowing my rear setup is the OME 890s with Billie 5125s... does anyone have any advice / thoughts? I am running a stock bumper with no additional front weight.

550 is a pretty soft coil, with no weight, it will be by far the most dramatic change from OME 881's. It'll be crazy amazing. I switched from 881 OME to toytec coil overs with 600 lb coils. I have front skids and a front bumper and I still hit bump stops over rough terrain. So with no weight, I think 550 is the way to go. If you plan for weight later on, get the 600 now.

get the 600, i have run 600s on my kings with factory bumper. no bumper and a tube bumper.
Although it a bit stronger spring it helps with bumps. DO it.

I am thinking that the 600lb coil might be the way to go... simply because it will handle weight and bumps a bit better. Even with no weight, there is NO way that it will be "stiff" like the OME 881s are. ;-)
