Both VSC Lights, ABS and traction control lights on

Just had my cv axles, and struts/shocks replaced. All 4 of the lights in topic are on now. They thought it could be the brake switch so they replaced. The lights are still on. I have an after market auto start installed that is wired to the brake (not exactly sure how) but when they removed those wires, the lights went off but the car would not start. Would just crank. When wires are reattached - car starts but the lights stay on. Any ideas?

I'm taking it to where I had auto start installed. Not sure if the box is now bad and causing the lights to come on.

Bring it back to whoever did the work and have them check the sensor wires, 99.9% sure they'll find they pinched/disconnected one or more. Very common occurrence.

According to them, the lights were on before they started work.
 
Good luck, they sound pretty defensive. Tell them you can bring it elsewhere and send them the bill. That works.
 
You have to ask yourself if you really want the guys that messed it up, then lie about it touching your truck again? Not me.
 
As an installer, I can tell you that the only thing hooked to your brake it a wire reading the 12v output from the switch, nothing data related. Transponder wires up near the steering column might be the issue, but honestly I've been installing for a long time and never seen those lights set off by a remote start.

Where are you? If it's anywhere close to VA I can help you out.

Well that didn't work.

Edit: never mind that appeared to work. Didn't turn off right away. Was getting ready to go get a second opinion about an hour after hooking battery back up and now the lights are off.

And never mind. Just came back online.

And that was fun. The lights were on for a little. Then check engine light came on and disabled acceleration. Going back and they are going to hear it from me.
 
I have had this problem again just recently after fixing it 2 years ago. I replaced the R. rear wheel speed sensor, but the problem is now back with strange truck behavior now. All VSC/Trac lights are on as well as parking brake light. The lights will literally turn on/off 3-4 times in a 15-20 mile drive. Recently I have been getting very odd speedometer behavior (needle will go up and down 10mph without touching accelerator or brake. My brakes also don't seem to want to work right at start-up, more resistance than normal/vibrating. Let me know what you find out. :redbrick:

The code i got on O'reilly's code reader is CO 210, R. rear wheel speed sensor again.

Well that's no fun. I had the lights come on and then after about 20 min of driving on freeway the check engine light came on and the acceleration was killed.

I have a good shop in Aurora if you're interested. Rare find - an honest and knowledgeable shop! They just did my t-belt, water pump, etc and fixed my dash lights. The first time I went to them was for this issue and have been using them ever since.

the reason i said to disconnect it was because its a starting point i have had mine light up when doing small electrical and once it was reset wasn't a issue.
