Day 1

First up was polishing the paint, removed running boards

Next was a $100 craigslist score Trail edition wheels, and new Cooper At3 in 265/70/17

Moog 99 tall springs to fix the sagging rear..

Plastidipd all the gold emblems in Hyper Graphite Black

Bilstein 5100s T4R, OEM LBJs, tie rods, sway bar endings, poly sway bar bushings, Moog front springs

Bilsteins set at second perch from bottom.

It had a slight Baja stance so I put on a Daystar 1.5" spacer in the rear to level it out

Added 1.5" Wheels spacers
Color matched the grille and added clear corners and turn signals

Added drls into the filler panels and led backup cubes

So I had sold the 2001 and bought a silver 99 4wd w/locker shortly after in 2019, as seen starting on post #28. However i was rear ended on the way to work in 2020 and it was totaled. I then picked up a white 97 4wd manual that I've done mostly similar mods to. I must say the manual has made daily driving a 5vzfe 3rd Gen much more enjoyable.

Nice truck! The bump stops for the hood are adjustable. If it's sitting low on one side I bet that side just needs to be raised. They just turn to get taller or shorter.

I had brought them all the way up. I ended up making taller ones out of shock bushings to hold it level with fender.

Hid projector retrofit complete. I like these just as much if not more than the ls460 projectors on my Tundra. Mounted the ballasts inside the inner fenders to keep them dry and engine bay clean. Lights up the night and no blinding oncoming drivers.
