BOUGHT a 2013 SR5 Last-Night (shakes head)

Well after hunting for a 5th gen with 3rd row and 4x4 in Texas for a week I gave up and went to a local dealer. They had on the lot a gunmetal grey 2013 SR5 4x4 with 3rd row for $38216.00 ($1100 was dealer add on crap). After going back and forth for more than 2 hours (should be faster since I have owned more than 30 Toyotas) I bought it for $32,597. I feel it was not a bad deal, but as always I HATE buying new. It was however nice to see an odometer that I own read in the single digits....

My driveway is a little full right now and the Tacoma and Hilux are parked in the back.

Several mods on the way this year before FJ Summit.

Just bought an ARB bumper for it.. I do not care fo rthe way it looks, but rocktek Quit making them and the one I want is 3k and months out for delivery.

Getting Skid plates also and Just picked up Icon front coilovers from a buddy (used).. Got a winch, synthetic line, factor55 end, HID 7" lights and trying to hunt down a good deal on some tire...I will not actually put the tires on until just before Summit in July..

Congrats! My mother ordered a 5th gen back in 2011 (Limited). Hated it when they first came out but with the right lift/tires/kitted out I love them.

Thanks man. They dropped off the ARB last night and I went and picked up the lift, lights, winch and even a roof rack on lunch.

I will not rush into installing everything because its cold and I have time before CO. Plus I think it will look funny with lift, bumper, roof rack and then factory tires. Lol. Plus I gotta get some help installing that bumper. Wanna drive to TX and help?

Funny Story.

I bought the arb and it is setting in my shop now, but I called Justin at Rocktek and begged him one more time to build me a tube bumper, and he said yes, so I am selling the ARB and buying a Rocktek

You won't have to wait long. I have a ton of stuff already. I won't do it until it get warmer, but bumpers, sliders, armor, skids, coil overs, winch, lights and roof rack for sure.
