Bought a '99 SR5, paranoid about radiator

I just bought a 99 SR5 Highlander Edition. It was a one-owner and only has 135k miles. I asked the previous owner about the radiator and he's pretty sure it was never done but wasn't certain.
Needless to say I'm concerned about the strawberry milkshake issue. Is there an easy way to tell if the radiator has been replaced and/or if it has the radiator by pass cooler before I go spend the money.

I got me a brad new one for $120 and for that its just a fair price to just replace it. I also got a trans cooler off a excursion and bypassed the stock one.

The only problem I have had was the top plastic end split open
