I'm diggin' the custom fab work - good job!

Have you checked out Untitled Offroad? They are mostly out of Calgary. I'm still yet to get down to join them on a run but would like to one day. Looking forward to more of this thread!

Thanks :). I haven't heard of them but I will look into it for sure. I'm gonna take out the runner in a few weeks for its maiden voyage :).
 
Very nice on the sliders! Did you follow a template for measurements or did you just do all that custom? Sliders are so freakin' expensive and since I have access to a tubing bender and welders I am really considering building my own. I built my own for my Wrangler so I can't imagine it would be too much harder for the 4R
 
The sliders came as a universal kit still had to put in 10hrs of fab work to get them to work. The KDSS made it a huge pain!!

I built my own as well. If I don't count my time, they came out way cheaper than the ones you can buy. However, between design time and stick welding - it took me countless hours! Would have been better off buying my own but I can say I built them myself - and they work awesome!

Cheater trick for extra grip/traction, sprinkle sand in between coats to give it a more textured effect. The worst is walking up to your Runner and stepping on one of those in the rain/sleet/snow and sliding right down and hitting your shin.

Curious, why King over the forum-favorite Icon? I'm considering the King's but would love to hear your opinion. Where did you order them from and did you get their extended travel?

Am curious about this as well. The reason why it is a forum-fav is because ICON has done a tremendous amount of effort in getting the valving and ride quality perfect. I am sure KING is comparable, but haven't heard much about their stuff for 5th gens.
 
King because they are a better product, well at least in my opinion.

To the OP. Surprised you did not go with Total Chaos arms instead of the ICON. I hear ICONs don't add a lot of caster over the Total Chaos ones. Nice set up so far.
