Brake Bleeding Problem

So I went to bleed the brakes on a 2008 and when I opened the RR bleeder valve, brake fluid would not come out of the valve but would leak out from the area where the valve screws in. Does this mean the valve is clogged? Or is there something weird about 4th gens that I'm not aware of?

I've done this on multiple 3rd gens and never had a problem. I am the original owner and the brakes have never been touched so it seems surprising that the valve would be clogged.

Yes your bleeder valve is clogged, I would say it has rust in it but I don't think metal can rust up on the moon , you maybe able to get it unclogged but best is to replace it.

Valve's probably clogged. Did it have a dust cap on it? I imagine that fine moon dust just clogs up those suckers pretty good. Joking aside though, if there's no dust cap and you live in a place where corrosion can happen, I've seen those things get rusted shut.

On my 2003, in order to bleed the brakes on the rear the key has to be in the ignition and in the on position. Doesn't have to be started.

You can remove it and clean it out with compressed air.

It will take a bit more than compressed air, if hydraulic pressure won't clear the clog compressed air doesn't have a chance, but once you get it unclogged using a metal pick/probe, etc. compressed air will help finish the job.
