brake fluid

since im too lazy to buy a chilton anyone know if just plain old dot3 is good in our trucks? im low.

DOT 3 is preferred, actually.

Also no need to buy a Chiltons if you jsut pop the hood and look at the Master Cylinder/ brake resevoir. It states right on there.

Dot 3 is what it calls for. Just FYI brake fluid is NOT considered a "Top Off" fluid. If the reservoir is low then your brakes are getting low and time to check them out.

yeah ive been meaning to get the whole thing flushed/looked at. i also have a pair of 130w kc slimlites that im debating throwing on my front bumper but i also want a shrockworks bumper so drilling holes in the stock one may not make it as valuable when i sell/trade it
