2005 Sport 4wd v8
I just got my T4R from the shop where they installed my lift and brake accessories. While doing the brakes (power slot rotors, new pads and goodridge g-stop brake lines), they said the passenger front caliper wouldn't compress all the way back. At first, they thought i ordered the wrong rotors, but the other 3 went on with ease. They finally got the front/passenger on, but said it was very tight. After lift and everything was done, they took it on a test drive. Alignment was good, not pulling to either side, suspension felt good, etc. I get in it and start driving. After making a 10 minute ride back home, I smell a faint burning smell. I notice the front passenger rotor turning a titanium color so I'm assuming the caliper is the issue. I didn't have any issues with factory setup. Also, the T4R isn't pulling to either side, doesn't feel like it's dragging or hesitating or anything. I wouldn't even know there was an issue if I didn't see the rotor color.
So, I've been reading about calipers being an issue and doing a Tundra swap. Only problem is I just bought all new Powerslot rotors. Also, I keep reading about different size setups. What would be my best solution to resolve this issue without getting rid of my new brake setup?
